Just across the body of water of Manila Bay lies Bataan. Its significant role in history laid out when the Dutch tried to pry Philippines from the Spanish in 1647. Later on in World War II, the Americans and Filipinos became allies to fight off the invading Japanese forces. History buff or not, take him to Bataan World War II Museum and Mount Samat Shrine Pilar. Release some turtle hatchlings at Pawikan Conservation Center or go paddleboarding at Playa La Caleta.
