Movies To Watch In April: Get Ready For The Summer Blockbusters

Summer is definitely out! We’re definitely digging our brains for ideas to enjoy this bright time of the year. Beach is always a brilliant summer idea. However, what if you simply want a small getaway that does not take long roads or airplane flights? A movie is always a great alternative. We have listed for you the most interesting movies to watch in April.

This month has a line-up of all kinds of films that will feed your hunger for imagination and fiction!

1GOING IN STYLE

Release Date: April 5, 2017
Director: Zach Braff
Starring: Alan Arkin, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joey King, Matt Dilon

This movie is revenge personified. In a really funny way that is. Three friends were crossed by their banks. What do they do? They kick back and plan this elaborate bank robbery to get back to the bank that pretty much stole their pension. It’s a good-guys-gone-bad story that’s definitely set to make you laugh all the way through.

2CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE

Release Date: April 15, 2017
Director: Mae Cruz-Alviar
Starring: Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo

This superstar love team is definitely proving to us that they are timeless. Far from their teeny-bopper days, they are back with a new love story that is equal parts heart-wrenching and definitely kilig-worthy. In the trailer alone, you get a taste of how crazy this roller coaster love story will be. The countdown to this local blockbuster of movies to watch in April starts now!

3FAST AND FURIOUS 8

Release Date: April 15, 2017
Director: F. Gary Gray
Starring: Charlize Theron, Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Elsa Pataky, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris

This movie franchise has gone through seven instalments, a passing of a major character, and massive love from its fans. While most movies lose its touch by its second or third instalment, Fast and Furious seems to get better the longer it extends. Seven movies after and a new one at hand, we’re to expect yet another action-packed movie we’ll love like the seven that came before.

4PERSONAL SHOPPER

Release Date: April 15, 2017
Director: Olivier Assayas
Starring: Kristen Stewart, Lard Eidinger

Far from her Twilight persona, Kristen Stewart now portrays the role of a personal shopper. While that may sound like the makings of another chick flick, hold it right there. Personal Shopper is a psycho-thriller made to bend your mind and get you lost while raising the hair on your arms. It’s a ghost story like no other—a definite must-watch in our list of movies to watch in April.

5THE BOSS BABY

Release Date: April 15, 2017
Director: Olivier Assayas
Starring: Alec Baldwin, Lisa Kudrow, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel

Babies are cute. This fact, people will definitely attest to. But what will you do if suddenly your parents take home a little brother who turns out to be not much of a baby? Watch this chaos of a story in The Boss Baby and see how this crazy storyline turns out!

While loving the first movie is enough to get you going for this second one, can we just say there’s one tiny detail that we’re very excited about. BABY GROUT. Say no more, fam. Say no more.
