Beautiful, rustic interiors
The room we stayed in, which was the Double Room, was spacious and even suitable for four people. The interior is truly well-executed. It’s such a wonder to see how a few well-chosen decor created very tastefully designed rooms while maintaining simplicity and elegance! It almost makes you wish it was your room back home.
The bed was cozy, and there are more than enough pillows for a good night’s sleep. It’s so thoughtful when a hotel puts more than two pillows on the bed without extra charge.
Take your time to take photos of the room details because everything is very Instagrammable—from the small artworks plastered on the wall to the throw pillows on your bed.
Complete amenities
Sol y Sombra only has five rooms, which makes it a cozy boutique hotel. However, you can be sure that because of its small size, they can pay more attention to their guests.
It has the basic amenities you will need for a comfortable stay like toiletries, electric kettle, coffee and tea, airport transfers, generator set, and tours and activities arrangements. They do have a couple of family rooms for big groups, so all kinds of travelers are welcome here.
Not only is Sol y Sombra accessible to the beach, but there’s also a 24-Hour Mini Stop, medical clinic, and ATM at the ground floor of the building.
